Looking at a new career..

Hi All,

Jim here from sunny but cool south west Ontario.

Looking at a career change (less corporate world) and am investigating turning my hobby into a profession.

I need to learn a lot, but as they say, 'the older I am , the less I know'

Cheers

Thanks Peter.

How is beautiful Melbourne and area? I was lucky enough to be able to spend 2 weeks there and along your southern coast last summer.

Welcome aboard, Jim. Plan to "run in such a way that you might win." 1 Corinthians 9:24

I often reference to how much less I know each day since going into the studio full time in 2000. Wish I wrote it all down back when I knew everything...

Another quote that always seems relevant is "wow, we thought we were broke last month/year." If you (and your wife/family?) can learn to live on what you make, no matter what, on your own, it can be a happy way to live. There's comfort in knowing you won't get paid this week versus whether your regular paycheck will bounce again or will simply be another lay-off notice.

As always, tough times make good times even better and make good relationships even stronger. Good luck and Keep us posted.
