I stumbled across this site and really enjoy it.I'm a lifetime car and motorcycle guy.I would like to re-body a car at some point in the near future.I bought a new miata in 1999.I'm thinking about buying another one to re-body.I don't plan to use any of the stock interior,including dash and column.I don't plan to use the doors,fenders,hod,trunk lid,quarters etc.I basically want to erase all outward clues it was ever a miata.I want a vintage looking 50's-60's 2 seater.My biggest concern is the miata windshield "giving away" I started with a miata.A member (sorry forgot which one)turned a mid 70's vette into and early looking roadster on this forum.I like the way he thinned the windshield frame and rounded the corners.I've owned 4 mgb's in the past including a late model I put a 215 v8/5 speed in about 20 years ago.I like the idea of having a "late model" platform that has a huge aftermarket following.If you read this far thanks......
