All MetalShaping - New to the forum from Athens GA

Hey to everyone, I have been in teaching and training most of my working life; lately teaching math on the college and technical college level. I have lately become interested in machine tool technology and have taken several courses and a couple in engineering. My sons are into engineering (electronics and mechanical), and are taking courses at the local tech school. They might or might not go on to and engineering program. Most likely they will start working in their respective fields soon. The goal is for them to have their own business at some time in the future. Prototyping, design, short run production etc. We'll just have to see. I found this forum while doing some online research on metal spinning and decided to join since it seemed like a good place to pick up some info on metal shaping of all kinds. After some drafting, I'll be going into some CNC courses and would be fascinated to learn metal-shaping capabilities for CNC machines. That's all; this looks like a serious forum.
