Hi my name is Nick. I'm 36 years old and live in Michigan (Go Blue). I've been welding for a few years now and just started getting into metal fabrication. I'm joining this forum hoping to get advice and learn more about metal shaping.

Welcome to the forum. When you read the threads here you may get the impression that you have to spend a fortune on machines but in fact most tasks can be achieved with very few tools. Get some tinsnips and a couple of hammers, make yourself a stump and a flipper (slapper) buy a couple of dollys and you are on your way. You can even make the dollys!.
