Fort Smith, Arkansas

Hello from Fort Smith, AR.,

I have always enjoyed working on my older vehicles, and I get a sense of accomplishment when I can figure out how to repair things myself.

My father always talked about the really cool cars he had before family obligations made it financially impossible. Now he is retired and has the time and $ to build his car.

I bought a '68 El Camino- just like he had- with the idea to restore it. The floorboards were shot so I ordered floor pans and bought an $89 wire welder. The floors are now welded in and I'm hooked.

I want to work metal with the most simple tools I can afford, might one day buy an Ewheel, might buy a Shrinker/Stretcher, if I can one day justify, may buy a Tig. But want to start out hammering on a stump and sandbag.

Mostly just trying to learn and watch the craft.

Justin
