Hi from Oz

G'day all,
I am from Sydney and am a retired patternmaker.
Have a big shed in suburbia and current projects are '59 Morgan plus 4 for chassis repairs and a broken crankchaft.
'59 T600 Mazda 3 wheel ute full resto.
If I get to it a Honda enduro bike we built in the 70's alloy tank, cold drawn seamless brazed frame, blew it up years ago and its been exposed.
I have a fairly full complement of wood, metal, sheetmetal and welding gear.
Latest pattern (barter job) has been for an Ewheel which is now going into production.
Known about this site for years with all the buzz about the Ewheel thought I might join up.

Welcome to AllMetalShaping Henry. Is the Ewheel pattern you made the one that Peter Tommasini is having made?

Thanks guys, I'll see how I go posting a few pics of the morgan and the Ewheel pattern.
Hi Gavin, TAFE is the usual they are under threat of closure re student numbers.
Kerry the Ewheel is the one I made for Vaughan and Giorgio who are working on the Mog. They are running with it.
The Ewheel pic was taken last year and I'm marking out using the table and fence of the jointer. Note the pencil superglued to the height gauge.
I used the handwheel from the jointer as a master for the handwheel on the Ewheel. Don't worry Peter the jointer is a Barker made in Vic decades ago.
As you can see the Mog is pretty sad. Major rust in the chassis and some horrible engine mounts to be cut out and replaced. It was 'restored in the 90s and the clowns fitted a later TR engine but instead of fitting the Morgan engine plate they arc welded in new mounts.
