Hi all,

I'm Simon. I found this forum and the threads looked interesting...well at least the titles did, hence this introduction! ;)

I'm interested in engineering generally, anything that's made of metal including tanks, trains, planes, ships, plant, engines (particularly aero piston engines) etc, etc.

I've recently started building a go-cart for my son which is based on a 1920/30s racer. It's designed and built from scratch. When I get chance I'll upload some picks. Be warned, someone described it as dog kennel on wheels, so be gentle with me.
