Most of our previous projects have been fairly sizeable steam waggons and heavy stuff with little scope for tin bashing. We have a pretty serious set up for hobbyists but at the moment it's mostly small to medium machining capability. We like to think of ourselves as jack of all trades.

Just to show we have a vague idea of what we are up to recentish efforts include a Sentinel S4...

There is also a Merryweather steam fire engine that we made a new brass cladding for the boiler - you can see the old one in the background. I can go on about this more if anyone is interested. We were very pleased with this (so far)

The current project is a Sentinel Super which started as nothing more than this:

And after five years looks like this (well it did a couple of months ago or so). With the exception of some water jet cutting and some pattern making all of this has been made in-house.

This one made me think a bit more about tin bashing - I made the curved cheek plates for the front which you can see and the riveted water tank which you can't and I'm now keen to get better at sheet metal work. Preferably in aluminium because I'm a bit fed up forming 14 and 16 swg steel sheet.

We recently "discovered" a Coventry Climax FW engine which may give a clue as to what I want to make next.
