We're used to "everything in the back" here. In the dry, these cars have their limits. It wants more feeling from the driver. I would not lend a pedal car to amateurs of this type. He should pay for the repair. Then he would have more respect. https://www.auto.cz/americane-chteli...o-dobre-138503 |
Looks like a simple swing axle in the rear - not the setup for driving on two wheels !
 Driver = :dunce: |

I was going to guess "Tatra" .... Not De Dion in the transaxle dept.... ...BUT 2.9L V-8 hemi makes it tour very nicely, as Ben Swig found for himself. :):) |
When I was about 20 I did the same thing, but I was made of wild eggs .... Weak engine and turning on a dry road 180 degrees. It could not have turned out otherwise. It turned to the roof.
We grew up with these cars. It was the last car in which it was possible to make a bed adjustment. After a while, the seat lock wore out - it was not planned for frequent use. I had to tighten the mechanism with a 17 key. We were joking with each other. Don't forget the key 17 ..... Yeah, it's been a long time. That car started on the first cylinder. Knock and it ran. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG_P6IqEVW4 |
Ah, Skoda.
Was waiting for Zil.?? :):) .... Rover was called "Churchill's Revenge" by the Post War Germans.:) |
Kent. Zil only came to visit for 20 years from the east, was green and lived in reservations on the outskirts of the city.
Trabant was in East Germany. My uncle had it. I said I would never drive it. Uncle drove only a few kilometers with him in his life. I then sold the car. I never drove that car. I kept my promise ..... Terrible thing .... We called it "revenge for ....." it can't go on. In Germany to buy Trabant and Wartburg, residents had a list to buy a car and waited for delivery for several years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX8cYiDIdSQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hANlSODuRNI At the exhibition in Nuremberg in 2018? Warburg in its original state won an award. Witnesses of those times looked at him lovingly. Next to it stood the Ferrari 340 without much interest from visitors. Velorex.:lol: In our country, Velorex was produced in small series. Tubular construction covered with canvas. Two-stroke engine Two-cylinder Jawa 350 16 - 18hp. He starred in the movie. Meetings are being held today. Each piece must be named after the first owner. Velorex is also owned by one prestigious doctor. He attends these fun encounters with him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyA8OBXZ6qs |
Ah, what an idiot...
I do have the pre-war version of this car, almost finished restoration. I still have to fine-tune some of the panels and rebuild the lower rear exhaust cover... The engine block and gearbox ought to look yellow-ish, it is made from magnesium and was put into kaliumbichromate for anti-corrosion. A technically quite interesting car! Happy Easter, all! |
I saw how after the sanding. They cleaned the alloy with a wire brush in a drill and it was immediately adjusted so that the alloy did not have time to oxidize.
It's an interesting car. Very fast for such low engine power. The designers were thinking. High reliability. Unfortunately, this Tatra has always been a "messenger of bad news". Only a very rich man or a power structure could afford this unique car. If you look at the year of manufacture, each individual car could tell horror stories. Neither Tatra nor individual vehicles are responsible for user stories. Only historical context. |
