Apprentice 2 from Texas
Hello all,
Just starting to learn about metal work and fabrication. I've been around cars, trucks, and motorcycles all my life, but have not done any fab work. Thanks to a local shop I have an opportunity to change that. Bill |
Welcome Bill...lots of Texans lately....must be something in the water...

Hi Bill,
Welcome to Allmetalshaping! Lots of good information and people here at this site. Stay tuned! More metal shaping happenings in the Dallas/Ft Worth area this year. Peace, Chaz |
All right again Mr. Bill is another buddy I told about the site. He's a good friend and has a real passion for the form as well and has a lot of patience and ideas. See you too on Saturday man.

WQelcome to lthe site! Just start asking questions, someone has an answer..

Bill, thanks for joining us. We all started not knowing much and there wasn't many people willing to share information about metal shaping when I first started. Now you have a place to get answers.

Welcome aboard Bill

Right now I'm mostly watching, listening, and learning. It's time to start getting my hands dirty and work some metal though. The guys have been teaching me how to use a lathe, mill, english wheel, planishing hammer, etc. They build gas tanks, fenders, handlebars, and anything else they get the itch to build. Great guys, and I really appreciate their patience and willingness to teach. Bill |
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes. Look forward to learning from all of you.
Special thanks to seventy4seventy4 for taking the time to teach me many things about metal work, fabrication, bike building, music!, and life. You're a good man Charlie Brown! Bill |
