I noticed you're located in Breckenridge. Are you associated with Ezell Aviation? It was probably 10 years ago that I stopped at Breckenridge for fuel in my Luscombe. Somebody (I forget his name - maybe it was you?) from Ezell came out and started asking about my Luscombe. Since I was obviously interested in old planes, he showed me around the shop at Ezell and I couldn't believe the projects I was seeing. I was very impressed with the how friendly everybody was and can't imagine how rewarding it must be to bring warbirds back to life. Working there would be my dream job. I envy you!

My friend who is 160 lbs found his hummel very pitch sensitive, even though we added some nose weight. He had great difficulty avoiding porpoising on landing. He couldn't let go of the stick in flight to fold a map etc. We made some mods to improve pitch stability and feel forces and they worked well. Send me a PM and I will fill you in. Luc has 400 + hrs on his now. He flies a LOT.

That was me. I love vintage and WW2 aircraft. I never miss the chance to look at a Luscombe. Stop by again and we can talk airplanes.
