Covered with SPI epoxy. The patch panel has to go on next and then the dash top goes on.
Sand blasted. I am happy with this repair and there is no plastic filler.
Here the rust repair has been made. The other black panel you see is an aftermarket piece from Dynacorn. The fit was good.

First patch with a few tack welds. I used mig everywhere but the top row. That was done with a spot welder. I did the butt weld technique.
I had to make patches with my bead roller and tipping wheel. The curve prevented me from doing this in the brake.
This rust is common on 68-72 GM A body's especially convertible models.
