When I was doing work for Griswold & Co, Berkeley, CA, in 1981-2, he was restoring 4 of the 250 GTO's. Their metal dept. had built up a fabbed version of the Maglio, full size with what looked like a 4ft throat. Since it was dusty and their Wheel was not, I asked about the Maglio and was told that they could not get it to work correctly.
Later on, I learned from Ken Webber Engineering that Ken had spent time calculating and testing input speeds, leverage, and arm designs and had finally come up with a very useable Helve/Maglio.

If you are looking for a Maglio Helve i would suggest you try contacting "PARXJKS" either on here or youtube iirc he is the grandson of the parx hammer inventor. As i recall he was trying to track down original hammers from his relative - i would have thought he would have found Maglio in the process too. i think he is based in france(?)
