I must commend you all for helping me satisfy my curiosity about the Olive machine principle.

I was really curious about the outcome. An interesting contribution to look at shaping.

Thank you all for your thought cooperation. This sharing of ideas improves our shaping capabilities and practices and saves our time for unnecessary research and blind directions. I really appreciate it.

The fairy tale had a good end ..

So its just a giant bead roller? The in-feed out-feed tables do not impart any bending?
No, the metal is stretched on the outside causing it to lengthen and given the profile of the roller, creates a reverse. The center of the panel is not stretched as much or at all, depending on the tension.

Default mudguard forming machine

There is a video ( motorcycle fenders/mudguards oz style) on here which shows a power roller with angled feeds on the in and out. On the 3 olive machine how would lateral movement be controlled?

I did a test in my EW. The procedure and tools go gradually. The radius transitions are cleaned up by a small wheel at the top and narrow at the bottom. Below is the wheel from gym weights again. Favorite component. This is for those who tackle roll runout. This pulley also has an eccentric axis. Who can tell. It doesn't bother me either. You see the result.
Continuously connected shapes. Still soft sheet metal. I didn't use jaws. Only the tools you see.

Beautiful work Kent. I had the opportunity to work for airplanes, but I am not able to follow technology. It was for gliders. They carry the material in freezing cars, x-ray the resulting product. I guess I wouldn't have done well.
