Default New from Auburn ca

Hello , I have been a quite observer here for a little while now. Just thought I would finally introduce myself. I learned body and paint from my older brother (he worked in a shop back then) when I was 14-15 in high school I did R.O.P. body and fender classes at the local junior college. My mother had to drive me as I didn't have a drivers license. Those classes were paid for by my high school which also paid an allowance for materials. I am now 36 years old have done few cars over the years. I am primarily into kustom cars but am fascinated by you guys for all the forming knowledge you have. I hope pic up all I can. I am basically self taught through trial and error. I have recently taken some Gene Winfield classes in metal shaping and his first paint class. I am just an amature, I have a lot to learn.
Heres a couple of pics of my current project.

Thanks for having me.
Dave Hitch

Dave, welcome to AllMetalShaping glad to have you here. From the pictures of the Hudson I would say that you have a good bit of knowledge already. It looks very nice. We all continue to learn as we do more and try different things. Looking forward to seeing more post from you. Thanks for joining.

Welcome 'Hitch' (we like real names).

Well, I read your intro and then looked at the photos of your Hudson.

Gene Winfield is a real hoot isn't he! You seem to have learned your lessons well. The Hudson looks great.

Default Welcome!

As has been mentioned, just because you don't do this for a living doesn't make you an amature! Nice work on the Hudson, very professional results! Not only that, but you have an excellent eye for Kustom design.

Glad to have you here, make your self at home.
