Yeah, Came in for a cut n polish........... Up sell big time !

The ute is still at Bri's but going soon. Dennis just needs to get rid of the pommy car he loves so much

( Dont telly Johnny Oldnek that I have a bid on an FE or FC Panelvan. Spending time on Brians has rubbed off a bit ! We have a 5.7 LT 1 looking for a snug place to reside Will they fit ??? )

Cheers

Johnny

they do i but a 308 in mine.. john has a 350 in his .. but i think engineering restricts u to 327 but have heard that most get approved .. but you will need an engineer involved early on for the ls conversion ..
ps CRS and castle auto electics have lots of goodies for installation like loom ecu engine mounts Etc ..

We folded up some sheet to replace the bottom inner frame after finding pin holes virtually everywhere. The replacement panel looks a little rusty in the photo because it actually is .This photo shows Bri actually doing some welding. Any chance to mig and he's in !

All welds were gas except where Bri sneaked in with the mig monster

3 hours later and Bri is still filling in the holes he keeps blowing. Eventually I felt sorry and turned the welder back down to 50 amps

Of course, the panel is much smoother in real life than the photos show. ( don't we all write that ?)

We don't take ourselves too seriously and tend to have a lot of laughs along the way but it has been great therapy for a seriously injured mate to learn some new skills that he may never have had the opportunity do so

To everyone that contributes to the forums, here or otherwise , thankyou.

Thank you for the time, knowledge and skills you all share. Bri appreciates it and I do too

Cheers

John

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.
