Default New Guy

I'm Hoyt from Virginia Beach, VA. I have done auto restoration and repair for pre-war hotrods and Triumph TR3 sports cars for +15 years as a hobby. Seven years ago, I moved into a commercial space I own and have a 3,000 square-foot shop. I sold the family business last February and can now devote time to work on the cars, several of which need sheet metal repair. I have dabbled in metal bumping for quite a while and I have the basics, but just need more practice -- and now I can do that. I'm also taking a class at the local community college to learn how to operate lathes and mills, so that will be fun as well. Right now, I need to use my metal-shaping skills to repair dents and fabricate patch panels, but I would like to progress to making complete panels as I gain experience.
