Hi, I have a couple of projects on the go - a 1931 Riley Nine special and a 1929 Austin Seven Chummy. Attending night school car restoration classes and enjoying metal shaping but useless at MIG.

Welcome,
Glad to see new members getting into metalshaping, as opposed to just buying parts.
I was always a mig man before I joined this site and it's a good foundation to get you started, when you get into shaping metal, especially on those Austin wings, gas & tig will give you smoother panels, imo, something to work on in the future maybe.
Post some pictures of what you are working on, good luck.

Hi Barry
Welcome - good to see some more Uk based arrivees. Also a Riley man myself - built a 9 Brooklands special last year / about to restart on a Racing MPH special after a two year lay off whilst restoring a Riley 9 WD (War Dept ) tourer. Post some pics of work in progress please.
You'll find lots of useful information in this site and plenty willingness to provide advice etc.

Default Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for such a warm welcome. Some pictures of the project as found- as a rolling chassis and playing with wood and cardboard (or how not to do it!)
