Default 1930 model A coupe project

I'm going to put this out there before starting this thread. I am an ammeture. I'm in the very early learning stage, so please bear with me. All comments are welcome.

With that out of the way, as I stated in my intro, I did 5 years in the Navy as a Hull Tech. We handle all of the welding, plumbing, and fixing stuff others break. I built a model a roadster out of a Brookville body while I was in. I've never experienced much sheet metal work. I got out in December and headed to South Dakota to go to the Hot Rod Institute. I brought a pretty rough 30 coupe with me.

Now that we assessed the damage, we decided to blow the car apart. There was a lot of cracks and other damage where the panels were joined together.

I picked a couple easy spots to start my repairs. The bullet holes have to go.

The metal around the bullet holes is junk so that whole area will end up getting replaced. The edge went well but still needs to be finished.

The area around the window was worrying me the most. We decided to make a hammer form.

The corners took a lot of stretching. I used the bead roller to put the step in around the window. I also added a step at the top for the drop rail and the molding below the window. This took care of a crack and another bullet hole. The funny thing about these bullet holes is there's no exit on the other side of the car.

Today I started on the panels behind and above the window. I learned a few ways to shrink. I started using a tucking tool and then went to the Pullmax with a thumbnail die. It's really amazing me that you can take a flat piece of metal and turn it into something like this.

The entire drivers side roof panel is shot so I will be remaking all of this. The rear corner fits pretty well and I have started working on the piece above the window. I will also need to remake the drop rail on this side. Any recommendations on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. I have some ideas but it involves making it in 2 pieces and welding it.
