I had atteneed the meet yesterday, and I must say that I had a blast. My only regret is not being able to attend today. Kudos to Pugsy and everyone involved for taking a noob like myself and showing me the ropes. Pugsy is a very intense individual who clearly has a ton a passion for the craft...
Griggs thank you for your time and your valuable input. The way you take the time to explain the science of the movement was just awesome. Also huge thanks for donating the stump... Had spoke with a few folks and I am so sorry that your name escapes me. 2 guys who were working on a fender talking about my build. Another who could be related, long beard that lives in Oshawa you guys are just awesome. I recommend anyone in the area to attend if they have a chance. Just a great group and a great experience, thanks again Pugsy you're the man...GM |

We had about 15 on Saturday and 10 on Sunday.
Not a bad turn out considering it was the nicest weekend of the year thus far weather wise. Last edited by 123pugsy; 04-20-2016 at 04:57 AM. |

A few more pics.
A fella came to the meet wanting to learn so he could patch up his 36 Dodge front clip. We ended up cutting out the grill shell and he realized he was over his head on the project. A real shame as the thing has 1/2" bondo all over and chunks of 1/8" flat bars as patches. That's Barry (Grigger) swinging the hammer. We've got to get the collision background that's in his blood out of him and give him a slapper or two... Racer John shrinking on the stump. Paul trying to do John's piece in one go. Hannu with his fender patch. Last edited by 123pugsy; 04-21-2016 at 05:14 AM. |

My few minutes here and there that I found, I played around doing some shrink and stretch on a couple of blanks. I'll keep picking away at the pieces during future meets. Hopefully someone will bring a wheel with smaller anvils along so I don't need to slap my arm off to smooth up the mess.
