Default Brendan Kinsella "Ireland"

Hi Guys, my name is Brendan. I am a Mechanical Engineer and restore classic cars namely Porsche, Jaguar and Mercedes. Serious addition to old British Engineering Equipment. I have lot of tooling, highlights include a 42" and 36" FJ Edwards Wheeling Machine, Box and Pan folders, Swagers, Slip rollers, Bronx Lye Pressbrake and Pulmax P5/2 x2 and a P1. Personal cars include Mercedes 107x2, Mercedes W114x2, Porsche 911 Aircooled x7, Porsche 914x2, Porsche 365 A, MGA Mk2, Jaguar MK2 x3 etc. Very passionate about classic cars, bikes and tooling. I have zero interest in modern Chinese junk manufactured tooling. Excited to see what other members are working on, restoring and making

Regards
Brendan K

Gosh Brendan, you must have quite a shop to get all those toys in. Welcome to a great forum.

Pass through Kildare on my way from Dublin to Annascaul every other year for trail riding in the Ring of Kerry, beautiful.
Welcome to the forum, there is so much to learn from these lads.
You are very fortunate with your tooling and cars, clearly a lifetime collection.
Some of the chinese "stuff" is the basis for a large percentage of the fellow enthusiasts on this forum, who at whatever level, dont have the choice of the "real" stuff.
I have some chinese stuff from early days, aint the best!, but made me realise the benefit of the better tools when I eventually located and paid for them.
If fellow metal bashers had to have the old school best stuff, then many wouldnt get started.
Please show us some of your work, we all love it.
Just for the record Im useless at it, but love it all the same.
My only classic car - my Sunbeam Tiger, which I probably will never finish, but boy, Ive enjoyed the journey so far.
