New guy from Maryland
Hi All,
My name is Mike B and I'm retired. I've been restoring cars and trucks as a hobbyist for decades. In the process of doing that I'm now getting into metal work that I've never done before, so I'm hoping this group can aid me along the way. My current project is a 1953 Willys Jeep. Mike B

Guys, Mike is a stovebolt guy with a fleet of very nice trucks, to include a fire truck, tow truck, and this nice grocery getter on the left of the picture here:
IMG_2545.jpg The Jeep he is presently restoring was retired a few years back by the Volunteer Fire Dept just down the road, and Mike is breathing new life into it. When he asked me to help patch up the original gas tank, the widespread damage lent more towards making a new one. So he is learning about hammer forms and has done well in making the sides. Now to tin and assemble. Hopefully you will join me in twisting Mike's arm into starting a build thread to show some of the nice work he's doing.
