Thanks Mike & Peter,
A bit more on this practice piece, now to weld it up, my preference at the moment is tig, I've found it's ok & hasn't cracked on me yet, but gas welding is definately on my agenda. This the weld penetration fused flat on the inside Triming the front & back sections before welding Some blue marking dye, helps me finding the highs & lows

If them are your practice pieces, I may as well start over on my project.

Thanks Pugsy,
I'm always doing the same thing, looking at what I've done previously & thinking should could do better now, but then you'll never get nothing finished Some more pictures then, well tbh I wasn't feeling the love with this panel, I've got about 40hrs of faffing about in it, I think the issue stemmed from making the rear half in 1 piece instead of 2, if I hadn't lost patience with it, I would have cut in half again & reshaped it, however.... I think over reacted & over reshaped it a bit

Now, we all like a happy ending, so I gave it a couple of weeks & got back in the saddle, re-thought were it all went wrong & rattled this out, much happier, lesson learnt....

Thanks chaps,
Just trying to show the full story, failure & success, it's not all plain sailing. Too many things these days are Fakebook stylie, staged photos, perfect lifestyle etc, this work, as you all know is about hardwork, even then success is not guaranteed.
