Looks as though you may be pleased that duplicator didn't make it to Mn.. Sure is easy to control isn't it . Wait till you do louvers and see the real advantage .

Thanks for the comments guys. Kent, yes, they are Thomas buses, most of his fleet are..
Dan, I should have listened to you the first time, just didn't know I needed it then... And we are doing louvers for a 35 Chevy hood sides this Saturday.. The braces for behind the lower skirt were mangled pretty well, had to untwist the pretzels to get accurate measurements.. Getting all the holes prepped... Welding in the new braces.. All the pieces of the puzzle... Well, almost.. Now to bust it apart for paint prep..

I'm impressed with the duplication of those braces, do you have any photos of the process?
Thanks, Dave.

No photos, but the two long bends were done on the magnetic brake and the short one was using short dies on the Diacro press brake. 14 ga CRS.

Robert,
If you're not careful, you will drive your local Chinese panel distributor out of business ! Super clean work as always from you. It's a joy to see your regular postings.

Robert,
Under the assumption this was an insurance repair, did you initially bid to replace all those braces and outer panels or did you leave the inside open to hidden damage, do you estimate the time it will take you to recreate the damaged parts or strictly be the hour? I have thirty years in the body shop and dealing with insurance companies and curiosity is biting at me. If you don't mind and have the time to explain the bidding process if it was used, I'd really enjoy listening... Thanks ever so much, Dave.
