Does the wax in this part of the process, effect painting later?

Hey Cody,

From what Iv'e been reading this stuff gets used after the painting is all done as a last step to seal any exposed areas that can or would collect water, dirt, or other materials that would hold water and allow rust to form.

I'm sure someone with more experience will pip up if I'm off base.

I have sprayed Boesheild on electrical panel open to salt spray and after 18 years no corrosion and all is working.
