Default Granbury Metal Shaping Gathering a Success!

What we lacked in numbers we made up for in enthusiasm and a quest for knowledge. We were competing with other events happening in the DFW area and also bad weather. Three of the guys had to drive thru all the flooding over in the Houston area to get to the meet. Our "first timers" were eager to learn and stayed with it from the beginning to the end. I can't say enough about these guys. Each coming from different walks of life and professions they came together learning and helping each other as a team. DonB was the head wrangler for the day and deserves a great "Thank You" from all of us.
We had to stay with only a couple of basic projects and the use of only the basic hand tools since we were limited as to what we can do in one day and a little less than 8 hours of work.
OK, enough words! Here are some assorted pics of the guys working and learning.
Peace,
Chaz

Hi Chaz,

It looks like you had an enthusiastic crowd show up, I figured that metalshaping was going to take off in Texas one of these days! Thanks for taking the time to make all this possible for all the rookies and experienced metalshapers in your area. Judging by the pictures, it looks like you guys had an excellent time.

Ken

That looks like a grand time. Thanks for sharing!!

I love the way you named the photos so you can read them with your cursor, I'm going to steal that idea. That was a great idea.

Well JonJon,
You have another chance. We are thinking of having one in the first part of November. The only difference is that it will be held in Gatesville instead of Granbury. We will put up a notice as soon as we get a firm date.
Peace,
Chaz
