Default Please stay on topic

It is often hard to stay on topic and we admins are as bad about it as anyone else. Steve Hamilton's current 58 Chevy Pickup build is a perfect example. Steve is doing some really neat Pullmax tooling and the discussion promptly flowed over into tooling thereby highjacking the thread.

That thread was split (which is a royal pain btw). We'd like to ask all members to ask questions that are off the intent of the thread in a NEW thread. PLEASE ask questions. We want to encourage that. Just try to keep things in the original post in line with the original posters goal.

The last thing any of us want to do is frustrate someone who has spent the HOURS and sometimes DAYS of effort into documenting their project by taking it off on a tangent.

Thanks to everyone (including me) for your help.

No problem. We'll try and keep that in mind from now on.

As soon as I posted the second time I realized that the thread was being highjacked by me. I am sorry for this and as I am an admin on a welding site, I know what is involved.

I will make sure not to do this again.

Actually J I started it myself with my dynaglas question. Everyone else just followed down that garden path. Like I said, we're all guilty.
