Just a reminder that sometimes we need to slow down and think about what we are doing. Yesterday morning I went to round over a piece of 1/4 plate for a chasing tool on my 20" disc sander. I put the plate into the disc at a bad angle and it pulled the plate and my thumb right between the table and the disc. I was able to yank my thumb out but not before it took about half the length on the top down to bone
. I quickly wrapped it up and drove to the e.r. . 12 hours later they performed surgery to save what they could . I haven't seen it yet but I guess there is about a half inch left past the knuckle luckily. I have pictures but i don't think anyone really wants to see them Haha!
