Default Hi from Lancashire England

Hi all.
My passion over the years has been to build Opel Mantas.
GM stopped building them in 1988, I still build them.
I have been building my current one for 14 years and have spent around £15000 ($22000) and the total bill will probably be £30000 ( $45000)
A lot of money for something that cost £9000 ( $13000) new
I have been sent here from garage journal as they say this is a brilliant site to learn the art of metal work.
I have been making things from steel for 25 years and considered myself to be quite good at glueing things together with a mig until I looked at what other people had accomplished and I was in awe.
I can weld with mig and tig and can bend and bash.
I'm here to learn and looking forward to being part of the forum.
My current build can be found here

Regards
Kev
