Default new dude outta Nebraska

Hey everyone, im Adam, from south central Nebraska. I was lucky and had a very good metals program theoughout highschool where i learned: several welding processes, machine work, both manual and cnc, CAD, mould making for aluminum castings, and our senior year we were lucky enough to be the first class to learn g-code on a brand new HAAS lathe. A lot of those skills have since been forgotten but otthers ive been doing since. Couple jobs running mills and lathes turning irrigation pumps. Ive recently began taking on side jobs doing custom builds for friends. Currently building a twin turbo setup on a chevy silverado ss for a guy. Ppl started coming to me after my 1st build was done and has gone many many rounds in the 8th mile. It is a big single turbo FoxBody Mustang. nothing special but its fun.

Tho i enjoy building these turbo kits n what have ya, i really want to start getting more technical and doing things that are more hands on and create things that make a car or truck look sweet vs amounts of horsepower that dont agree with traction or drivetrain parts. Mainly wanting to start doing some sheet metal stuff. so here i am!

Hello Adam. It is good to see another member in my area. I am near Minden, where are you? Maybe we can trade knowledge, I am still learning the basics of shaping.
PM me if you wish.
