Thumbs up Greetings from Gills Rock, Wisconsin USA

I'm Harper, a sculptor in a wood and stone but new to metal shaping. Much of what I would like to build involves creating volume with as little weight as possible. Most likely in aluminum. I may have access to power hammers in Green Bay, a few hours away, but I am very interested in learning about alternative equipment and methods.

I look forward to learning from you. Please direct me to any forums you think might be particularly helpful. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Harper.

Always good to meet other sculptors. I'm here to do more in metal with less weight as well- some pure art and some functional. Shaping with an English Wheel is much different, especially more quiet and clean, versus carving stone. Very cool.
