Default 3 inch louvers

I recently made a rather elaborate hood for a Lotus 7 clone. The owner had installed a turbo charged Mazda 6 race engine. It required making scoops, ducts, blisters and grills form 3003 .063 aluminum. Despite the ducting, scoops and such, the heat gets trapped in a corner of the engine bay where there is a partition isolating the air filter.

I would like to punch 3 inch louvers on the limited flat space on the top of the hood above the exhaust. My preference would be the more traditional flat top louver performed on a press rather than a Pullmax.

I would like to hear from anyone in my area that could accomplish this. My shop is located in the area of Valley Forge National Park in southeast PA. I am willing to drive a 2 -3 hour radius from there to keep it within a one day operation.

The hood is fully metal finished and ready for paint. A great deal of time has been invested in the overall project in an effort to achieve the customer's vision. I would need to be a participant in the process to assure the customer is getting the specifications he has requested.

I will gladly forward pictures of the hood to anyone who is interested.

I can be reached at my shop or PM me on this site.

Thank you,
Rick

Why not do them yourself? I followed a video the Per had put up and made my own version of it to suit me.

This is the way I went about it.

There is a link to the video there too.

Invention is a combination of brains and materials.
The more brains you use, the less materials you need.

Rick , sorry I am probably too far away to help. I press 8 different size louvers(3" is very popular) sometimes while the customer waits for them. I am in south central Michigan.

Thank you for the response. The owner of the car has decided to make an early morning road trip and take the hood to Posies. I have no experience with them but had a good phone conversation with the technician after sending him pictures of the project. Will let you know the results.
Thanks again,
Rick
