Default from Guatemala

Hi all,

my name's Marco and I live in Guatemala.
I've just bought an 1962 old beetle in not too good conditions. I love this car and I would like to restore it.
I've some experience in welding and shaping but I'm I'll need help.

So thank you to allow me to be here.

Marco

Sí, bienvenidos al foro. Claro, Estan alguien aqui, desde mexíco, argentina, españa, y paises otros hispanohablante.

welcome, we have a number of people here from Spanish speaking countries.

which makes me think, I had a lady ask me to make some tools the other day. punches and stamps.
She sent me a link to the jpg that showed them and the shelf was marked

'Huñetas' I can't find it in the dictionary.
cinceles and cincelado and repujado pero huñetas no
Does that indeed mean makers mark, or is it some more general term.
funny how words we use in the shop don't make it into dictionaries.

the shelf above looked like it had makers marks/ touch marks and pattern stamps and one could see some texturing stamps, chisels in the boxes below.

again welcome..
and regarding my question. about the tools.
I found this by asking on WordReference.com which has a great translating dictionary and also a forum to ask about words.

In the official Spanish Language Dictionary, where they try to keep track and set standards (but don't always keep up, and often aren't listened to, just like all bureaucracies) There is a entry without the silent H:
Del diccionario RAE: uñeta.(De uña).
1. f. Cincel de boca ancha, recta o encorvada, que usan los canteros.

a chisel with a wide face, straight or curved, used by stone carvers.

easy enough to pick up a silent H in a regional variation.

so the rack label mean stone carver type chisels. They often have teeth as well. and the square one I identified as a texture tool, also fits the stone carvers description of a "Bushing" chisel.
In that case the touchmarks got added to the mess after he decided to get organized.

Now that never happens to me....
