Joe's work is first class, and I very much wish I could be there! I'm involved in medical stuff right now, or I'd gladly make the trip. Will he be doing any oxy/hydrogen welding?

Bill,
We are going to focus on aluminum oxy/acetylene welding, Joe and I have talked on the hydrogen side and he will provide insight and his experience but because the hydrogen flame is virtually impossible to see we felt its best we allow this class to stay more on subject with best practices and application and not throw in and additional element to deal with. There is still 1 spot open in the class with Joe Stafford. Craig and I have made 3 bucks that are a portion of my my Jaguar front fender. The shapes of that fender include a long spreading bulbous and 2 reverse curves, 1 gradual and long the other short and pronounced. All the panels are aluminum. This a great opportunity to learn the plan and process for making some tough pieces and get more instruction on gas welding aluminum.

This class with Joe Stafford was the best most informative class I've taken so far. He explained his method of approaching each section of the panels, how he'd wheel them and why. He shared his technique of dealing with reverse curves and simplified aluminum welding. Joe also brought some of his favorite flux which I really liked a lot.
We are hoping to have him back again!

What was his favorite flux and where can one get it?
