41 Ford Custom COE front fenders
I am building a custom set of 41 Ford COE front fender's for a customer form California I am in the Seattle area. Here is a few of where they are now I will go back thru my pictures & try to post the build in order.
I am hand forming 38 car type head light pods with 38 car head lights. Then the side wheel opening will be re contoured & shaped to give a one off art deco look all metal finished when done Danny. DSCN0466.jpg DSCN0474.jpg DSCN0482.jpg |

They're going to look sweet!! How do you form the lip around the fender opening? I am working on some dies to run the lip in a pullmax now. The dies I'm making are a two step process. I'm not sure if I can do it with the fender in one peice though. It's alot to manage running a complete fender through. It may be a little while, I have two projects ahead of the fenders as of now.

Thanks guys more hrs then I wish to have in them but that is the breaks.
Dyce on the lip I will form a piece of cold roll 1/2 or 5/8 in diameter to hand form the lip over, the fender is to bulky to hold in the pullmax. For my 36 rear fenders I have a 5/8 solid round stock that I pound over. It took about 3 hrs to bend up using my china freight bender I will try & Post some pictures of the die & bender. Kerry I think I finally had a semi reverse curve epiphany or what ever you call one of those moments on these fenders there is quite a bit of reverses in a couple of the areas thanks to some of your previous post's on the other site thanks Danny.
