Hello, Dave. This is just a one off for my own use, as I was looking to upgrade my approach to positioning the rib positions and angles. Also, the biggest contribution for me to be able to do this is the availability of a 3D scan, if I want to make a buck of an existing part. I am looking to upgrade my skills to be able to generate those types of forms in an original manner.

[QUOTE=Z5Roadster;131144]Hi Bob, not sure that a 90 deg point would stand the test of time as it would be venerable to damage, the larger the contact point the longer it will last.

Tom you're probably right about that. I was going to suggest offsetting the outer edge some amount and then glueing o-ring stock or something like that to the center of the station edges. I like the idea of using a round over bit instead, maybe a 3/16" radius on the edges of a 1/2" station to leave a 1/8" flat in the center.

Nice work Will! Being able to Extrude Cut along the Intersection Curve is a very handy feature!

Some progress to report. Have gotten started on assembly of the pieces. The base had the holes installed at the water jet place to screw the four support ribs in place on the base. I outlined the positions on the top side with a pencil, pre-assembled those four ribs, and glued them to the top side. Then, the next day, I turned the buck on it's side and installed the wood screws, then glued the other ribs in place. Installation of the side pieces is next. The 'articles' in place on the buck are to position two ribs that did not hold there shape very close because of weight distribution issues.
