Default HELP! I need iPad pix posting assistance

Is there an iPad or iMac guy out there that can give some pointers on how to post pix in a thread? I resized them down to 600 x 450. I loaded them into an album on this site BUT I can't link them to a thread. Can someone help?

Thanks.

Hi Ralph,

basically it's no different than on a pc only the graphics differ a bit.

Please find uploading pics from an album described here:
http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=159 this method doesn't work well on the iPad because you can not "select all" when highlighting the described URL.

Uploading pics as attachments works well on OSX and iOS devices. Find description here: http://www.allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=115

Hope that helps.

Cheers
Andy

Place phone on stump, take large mallet and carefully tuck shrink into something useful.
On a more sensible note, I have to download to pc / laptop and load from there.
Sorry couldnt resist it - some things are just more frustrating than others!

If you're already got them in the album, the hard part is done. As Andy said, read this thread:

http://allmetalshaping.com/showthread.php?t=159

I find it helps to open two windows so you can copy from the album in one, and paste into the thread in the other.

When I first got my iPad I could upload pics one at a time. After I updated the operating system the first time, ( don't remember versions) the photos are too large and need to be resized before uploading.
As mentioned they must be moved to a desk top or laptop and resized then can be uploaded to allmetalshaping.

Sorry but I have not found an easier way!

Ralph, Put the pictures from your album in your second post on the thread. For some reason the url information is not showing with the pictures in the album so you have to right click on the picture and then on the photo information line and copy the url information and save it. Then you can post the pictures in the thread using the button with the mountain and sun icon.

If you need more information PM me with your phone number and I will walk you through the process.
