Default Making a South Carolina 'Mule'

My friend, Jimmy Matthews has a business that often builds roads with curbs, and there is a specific dimension for the curb shape in South Carolina, that is different from North Carolina, and the source for purchasing the concrete finishing contour tool has dried up, so I offered to make him a tool to build his own. We finished the first one made for South Carolina cubs this afternoon. It uses #18 gage steel. We had to make a jury-rigged handle to test the first one with.

I love it, Will.

And I really like knowing such details about shapes in every day life that get overlooked by 99.999% of the general public. Those details matter to me. There's many small regional variations like that in my work- most don't know or care. I do. Thanks, man. Very cool.
