Nice progress with the hinges! I think you were very lucky to get them sorted out in only 4 attempts, they can be a real challenge. Thanks for posting the errors as well as the success Steve

I welded in the piece. A lot of gaps made for some lumpy welding. Better than lumpy gravy or mashed potatoes I guess...........

Went out and got the first chunk O cowl tacked up. I'll wait til tomorrow so I can take my time getting the shape almost dead on before welding.
Stuck the hinge mock up in place with magnets for a look see. |

Finished up the welding and smoothed it out. It's not done but not bad so far.

I made up the last bit for the top half of the cowl for the driver's side and welded it in place. Knocked the proud off and called it a day.
