Default Deuce grill shell loan

I'd like to make a buck for a 32 Ford grill shell just as something to play with at events and wall art.

Anyone got one I could borrow long enough to pull some bondo bucks from it?

Kerry, have you seen the ones hanging in the old barn? I think one of them is a 32

Can you check when you get a chance Marty. I'll pay shipping both ways if you're willing to loan it.

Kerry, if you get a shell I would be interested in helping make the buck and making a shell for myself. I have been looking for one down here but haven't found one yet.

My idea is to make a female and male buck. From the female, we can make as many males as we want, or vice versa.

The Deuce grill shell is a great 'intermediate' project and will make great wall art and shop cred (credentials).

The goal is to develop a series of 'projects' that builds skills from novice to advanced metalshaping.

The problem with everyone working on their own project is that everything is different. If several people do the same desirable project (like the grill shell), then folks can ask how someone did this part or that part of the project and compare outcomes. Not everyone is going to make a perfect shell the first time but ya gotta start somewhere.

Plus when you're done, you have something that is a little more interesting than say a bowl or tear drop shape.
