Got my Sprockets and Chain today, did a few test pieces they came out pretty good but will have to build a guide fence I guess.
The Motor runs at 22RPM and has a reverse switch, it is a good speed and easy to handle.

This Anvil comes in handy from time to time.
I started on the bottom of the A Pillars today, I got rid of the curved kick up closest to the Cowell because I am not using running boards or standard Guards. I was using 2mm thick stock again so out came the Chisel and a piece of Ply. Clean up the welds tomorrow.

Today I welded in the piece of tin that holds the bottom Hinge in place on the drivers A Pillar.
I have threaded rod through all three Hinge Blocks to make sure they are all in one line so the Hinges do not bind when Doors are fitted. The person that did the roof chop cut out the holes for the top Hinge Blocks so the threaded rod will also help me to position the top Hinge Blocks to drill new holes. Sorry people the last 2 photos wanted to tip sideways for some reason.

I use my shoe last or cobblers anvil all the time too. I have cut them and made each end fit into my stake stand.

All I had time to do this weekend was a bit of cutting, I had to cut this out of the top of both A Pillars to rig up some fixing for my Visor and the Top Hinge because they were lost when previous owner did the Roof Chop.
I am fixing the Windscreen in place, it is not going to Swivel.

I got a bit of time over the last coupla days to do some more work in preparation for hanging Doors.
I used the Threaded Rod with nuts to hold hinge blocks in place at the heights I wanted and used a straight edge up against the bottom 2 fixed hinge blocks to obtain a position for the top hinge block so I could mark and drill fixing holes. I tightened up the top hinge block and tack welded the bolts in place because once I welded in the patch panel these bolts cannot be accessed ever again. I also welded a 6mm thick plate to the back of the patch panel with threaded holes so I can attach the Visor. After I finished fixing the Hinge Blocks into Position I spent a bit of time lining the Hinge blocks up so the threaded rod dropped freely through all 3 I had to bend the hinges in towards the A pillar by about 5mm, the hinges are made out of some cast brass crap so I bent them very tenderly in my Bar Bender and they didn't crack. I'll be wheeling up patch panels for the bottom of the Doors soon.

Really cool build. I'd love to find one of these in a barn somewhere to resurrect but they have all gone back to earth.
