Default Welding a Mini Cooper roof section to a 48 Anglia

I have decided to use a mini cooper donor section to fill the roof on my 48 Anglia. This appears to be the least complicated approach of the two choices I had based on my level of experience. I found a picture of a Anglia being fitted with a mini roof. I have a few questions looking at the photo.

#1 How do you cut the corner of the mini roof when you have a much narrower roof in the front as shown in the photo?

#2. Once you have the mini roof laid out how do you go about cutting the Anglia roof to match so you can weld it?

I need to understand the correct procedure before I get to this point.
