Default introduction

I am currently working on the XP82 restoration project and would like to learn more about metal shaping to help me with projects such as wing root fairings.

Thank You
Paul Flora

Welcome to the site Paul. In studying the monthly review on the XP82 today I was wondering who had the job of constructing the wing root fairings, now I know. Use the search function at the top right and type in "wing root fairings" you will find some information. There is a nice video by Kent White on his involvement with the Hughes H1 replica and the wing root fairings that he made.
There are some very talented aircraft people on here, if you run into problems post some pictures of your work and I'm sure you will receive some helpful suggestions.
Hope to get down to see the project soon, glad that you joined us, Dan
