Adding some much needed garage space.

Also, another 100 Amps of electrical service. I'll be back to work on the Caddy soon.

The garage looks just as good as the car!

Done. Finally... It's clear to me now that I need to stick to cars and bikes. It's time to get back to work on the Cad.

I finally got back to work on the Cadillac. Nice to be working in my comfort zone again. When I left off I had a bad panel alignment on the left rear deck skin. Since the panel was dead flush on the buck, I know that the problem is on the outer edge. I didn't take the time to get a perfect line when I tipped the outer flange and when it sets on the inner quarter it doesn't set evenly. This is pulling the panel outward at the front edge.

Also the edge had a couple wobbles in it that were causing problems with fitment. These are the areas marked with black marker.

The quickest and easiest way to correct this (other than doing it right the first time) was manually with a chisel end hammer and dolly from the inside bumping the bend line outward then a flat body hammer and dolly from the top to flatten out the original bend line.

Much better, that's what I want to see. The panel lays flat on the buck and lines up without any clamps or fasteners

Nice straight edge along the fender. We can call this one finished for now. Next are the gutters along the left and right sides, then the rear body panels
