Brings back memories of Southern Cal in the 60's, Pomona Fairgrounds, Lion's, Long Beach, Fontana, Riverside International Raceway. Walked up to Prudhomme's Pit and sat on the pit wall 3 feet away and actually talked to him. Few years later, Orange County International Raceway now old enough to run a few passes. Heady stuff for a 14-20 yrs old kid (still)

Thanks a lot for all the nice comments .

here are some more pictures from the process . we also showed the slingshot att a local carshow , another motorcykel and art show and a art exibition . kind of werd to squeeze in the slingshot dragster between all this art .

after the airintake was done , we flipped the chassis upside down an worked on the florpanels with some different louvers . enjoy .

These pictures are tacken before opening of the carshow , there were people everywhere later .

We made around 20 sketches for the airscoop , non of them was good enough . Then i went to my stash of parts , looking for shapes that could work . Than i found an old motorcykel tank with the right proportions . From there we made a wirebuck with some lines from the tank .
