Default Just learned about All Metal Shaping and joined!

My name is Alan. I live near Minden, Nebraska where I am retired from being a mechanical engineer for 38 years. Metal shaping is part of my hot rod and modified car hobby.
I have two extended cab pickups ('40 Ford and '48 International). I have learned a lot about shaping and welding from these projects but I would like to learn more techniques from this forum.
I do all my shaping by hand, I do not own any power equipment for this work. I do not know where I would put additional tools of that size in my shop anyway.
