Default Hello from nyc

Hi, my name is morgan. I'm more of a metal shaping enthusiast than a metal shaper. sadly living in nyc stops metal shaping as a hobby. i love learning and hope to soon have a garage to start doing projects that are more in depth than rebuilding motorcycle engines.

Buy a shot bag, a couple of dollies, a hammer, mallet and a slapper and you will be a metal shaper. And probably some snips. You can do vitually everything with those tools, time and determination.

There are some great instructional videos out there to get you started. Anything by Peter Tommasini, Tom Peach, tinmantech.com, Fay Butler, or the one by David Gardiner. Portions of all of these are on youtube. Have fun!
