Seattle area shop recomendation?
My dad had a bad day today with his 63 impala convert. Doing some work on it for a trip we have planned this summer and it managed to fall off his lift.
Good news is nobody was hurt. Car was a frame off restoration, so it as clean on bottom side as top side. Instead of doing the work himself, he is looking for a good shop to do a quarter panel replacement, along with paint work. (or two shops). We don't want it full of plastic filler, and the job done correctly. If anybody has a recommendation I would surely appreciate it. ty1295@gmail.com

Thought I would throw a picture up, and just another warning to all of us to BE CAREFUL.
Luckily nobody was hurt, the car is very repairable and fully insured. Sometimes we all take things for granted and how quickly things could go bad.

I hope you find a good shop that can make it right for you and your Dad.

I would check into Dennison in Puyallup. I recall Mark (Superleggera) saying they do work at a reasonable price. Shop usually full of high end race cars.
Also consider my friend Dan who owns Corvettes of Auburn. They restore more than Corvettes. Good luck!

He actually lives in Puyallup area, just most people have no clue how to say it let alone where it is.
He is following a lead I got from here. He could do the work himself but with insurance covering it, the difficult to match color, and timeline for a route 66 trip we have planned in September we felt it was best to look for a shop. The other note here, is after 50 years of him using a lift and never having a car get sideways on him, it did happen. Be careful in all that we do. I am glad we are just putting a car back together and not my dad.
