i called in to see peter a few weeks ago when we had the mini meet/hang out session, and i mentioned to peter i had a front hood frame to make as well as the skin. so i took the bit of frame i had up, and he took a profile pattern and had some steel laser cut. after a few hours of fettling the dies were ready to use

i called up last saturday and took some steel up i had cut in to pattern's for the frame, we (well peter) decided on the best plan of attack and we went with that plan today

i had a look around at what he is working on, as usual i found some cool stuff, latest project is some series 1 land rover front wings, the amount of land rover's i've worked on back in the uk...

a little bit of actual panel beating going on at the minute... blocking out the hinge pockets where the brackets weld to

hammering on the bag putting some stretch in there to form the shapes that go around the curve, after a little more hammering with the dolly and an old hammer handle shaped as a chisel
