HI Tom
I just recieved the plans and they look very well detailed, I have given them to my dad, he is going to do some of the machining work for me, I probally won't get a chance to start building it for a while as I am about to have another major spinal operation, so will be out of action (again ) for a few months. So hopefully he will have all the machining done when I can get back on deck
Guys the detail in the plans and the time Tom has spent with photos and explanations is way above the $20 cost he for the plans

Tom, there were no printable plans on the 2 dvds that I got from you. Lots of pictures of the machines and a few videos.

Cheers, Ryan

Default plans in PDF file

HI Ryan
First of all I checked my listing of buyers for the plans and I cannot find you there or on paypal. May I ask where you got the plans??
The plans have a description of how to build the BR but no drawings (blueprints). I have sold 41 sets of plans from Denmark to Australia with no complaints. I will answer questions you have if you email me at
acourtjester@hotmail.com
Second I send a cover letter that states
On the ”A” disc open the folder marked “Gen 5 Bead Roller” and scroll down to a PDF file called Gen 5 BR construction plans. This is the main plan document and has most of the info needed.
have fun
Tom

Default other questions answers

I would say it costs about $450 to build the BR that includes the motor drive system and some dies to use. Plans show how to make your own dies.
I have rolled 18Ga. sheet metal I have not tried thicker metal. With multi passes you may be able to do 16 Ga.
Thanks
Tom

Default Gen 5

I got my plans from Tom a while back and after a quick look put that project on the bottom of the pile. At first glance I was disappointed that there was not a conventional set of plans....but in hindsight I can say I was wrong. Now that I have spent several hours going over the info on the discs it has all become clear and I am about to begin my bead roller build of my own design but incorporating many of the features that Tom has explained. I think this information is a bargain ,and Tom is a very talented guy, that we are fortunate to have him share his ideas. I will hopefully wind up with the bead roller of my dreams. I am pretty pokey building things but eventually I expect to have some pics to share. Spend the few bucks and get a pile of first class information. Who knows what Tom will come up with next but whatever it is count me in.
